TODAY, WE ARE GOING TO INTRODUCE HOW TO MAINTAIN THE CUTTERS OF WATER JET LOOM AS BELOW:
RH/LH CUTTERS: THE CUTTERS WILL GET WORN EASILY DUE TO MAL-ADJUSTMENT OF
TOLERANCE BETTER BLADES, AS WELL AS THAT OF BEARING AND AXIS. WHEN SETTING THE
UP AND DOWN SIDE BLADES, THE INTERSECTION ANGLE SHOULD NOT BE SET BIG,
OTHERWISE THE TWO BLADES WILL JOINT TOO TIGHT AND GET WORN EASILY. WHEN SETTING
THE CUTTER, MAKE IT WILL CLASH THE REED. WHEN USING FEELER, FOLLOWING WAY IS
RECOMMENDED FOR LH CUTTER: OPEN A GAP (A BIT WIDER THAN THE CUTTER THICKNESS) IN
THE REED WHERE FACES THE CUTTER, THEN FIX THE CUTTER-CAM AT 180°. TWO ADVANTAGES FOR SUCH SETTING: 1. AVOID COLLISION
BETWEEN REED AND CUTTER; 2. CREATE STABLE WASTE-YARN LINE. FROM TIME TO TIME,
THE ANGLE OF THE CUTTER AND RELATED FIXTURE SHOULD BE CHECKED, IN ANY SLACK-OFF
IS THERE.
